Voice Transact for Internet Merchants and Retailers can be easily and quickly added to existing electronic shopping carts and supports conventional internet payment activities. Its specific advantage is that it allows consumers to ‘voice sign’ for a transaction and saves them providing any personal information over the Internet, as well as guaranteeing that they are not subject to phishing attacks. Your shopping cart system will display the total amount of the purchase and the consumer clicks on the Voice Pay logo at which point a unique transaction ID is generated. At that point the consumer can either make or receive a phone call from the Voice Transact processing network. The consumer is asked to authorise the purchase, and once complete shipping and order details are passed securely to you. Once the consumer has “voice signed” for the transaction the funds are debited from the consumers account and credited to your on-line retailer account and confirmation of the items that have been purchased and a delivery address, are also provided. Voice Transact can be used in any mobile environment, with any phone network and requires no software to operate. When a Voice transact mobile purchase is made we answer the call and the caller’s identity is initially verified, and they are asked to enter the unique Voice Pay mobile product code using their phone keypad. This allows the Voice Transact network to retrieve the product or service that they want to buy. The code also includes a check digit, to ensure validation and correct product identification. Today most Banks primary interface with their customers is through a non physical access method e.g. internet banking or a call centre. That means that when a customer wishes to conduct an activity that requires authentication beyond a preliminary identification process it becomes necessary to request additional information to confirm the customer’s identity using a customer support agent. Typically specific transaction passwords or a customers personal details are used for validation, however these methods are often inconvenient, time consuming and costly to the customer and the Bank, but can also be prone to fraud. Using Voice Transact a Bank can now automate its authentication process for multiple customer transaction types using our Industry leading voice biometric authentication platform. With Voice Transact wherever in any financial process you need a customers signature, based upon a risk or compliance reason, we deliver one. Voice Transact can be deployed to add new mobile security and signature capabilities to all Payment Card issuance activities. This has particular significance in the B2B cards market where scrutiny of employee expenditure is a time consuming and costly activity. Voice Transact enables Banks to immediately offer mobile payment processing capabilities to their customers as well, creating new revenue streams and starting the process of inevitable migration to a complete mobile banking platform. To add a Voice Transact capability to a consumer account a new account type is required which links to the existing account structure that you already operate. There is no complex integration work, and your customers open a co-branded Voice Pay account. Once the Voice Pay account has been opened whenever you need a customers signature, you get one. All Voice Pay authorised transactions are capable of being issued with a unique digital certificate that conforms to EU 1999/93/EC and provisions contained within SEPA and the EPD already provide for the provision and requirements for a digital certificate to guarantee transactional non repudiation.
